Our specially designed Phonetics and Reading Club module focuses on improving and enhancing a growing child?s speaking skills and understanding of sounds. In the English language, every word or letter has a particular sound associated to it. Improved communication skills include learning to understand the different sounds of all these letters and words and being able to use them correctly in speech. In this module interesting activities and techniques are used to captivate the child. It is important for a child to practice the sounds of new words and letters that are taught to him, for him to explore new words through books and to eventually reach a stage where he can read words he has not come across before coherently. Teaching the sounds of letters and words and making the child read extensively will help improve overall communication skills. How it Helps?Enhances Reading Ability? Builds Confidence? The ultimate aim while doing so is to ensure the child has fun while learning key life concepts and skills. Our specially designed World Around Me and Cedar Fun Club module caters to the fun and curious nature of a child. In this unique module we endeavour to teach the child about his surroundings. When a child first starts seeing and noticing his surroundings, his eager mind is full of questions. A young child will want to know why the grass is green or why water has bubbles when boiled. Through this module we expose the child to these worldly concepts and help increase his general knowledge of basic topics, thereby preparing him for his future schooling too. In short, when the child knows more about his surroundings, he is more aware and eager to learn. It is easier for him to eventually grasp and understand new concepts as a result. The Cedar Fun Club that is part of this module uses exciting art and craft elements to ensure the child gets overall, practical hands-on understanding when learning about something new. For instance, if he is being taught about the Solar System in class, he will also be taught to make planets out of little balls, how to name them, how to mimic a mini solar system and so on! How it Helps? ?
