About Us

VNIT is one of the best technology universities in the Vidharba region today. The institute was given deemed university status by the government on 26th June 2002 under the University Grants Commission Act, 1956.

In 2007, the Govt. declared VNIT as an institute of National importance along with the National Institutes of Technology.
